New Beginnings
Part 2 of my story
“Today is day one.”
I love this quote for many reasons:
It is simple.
It provides hope.
It is positive.
It means we have a clean slate. We can start fresh. No matter how muddy we currently are.
January 31, 2018 was my “Day One.” I was in a precarious place to say the least. No job. No home. Death of my beloved father-in-law. Marital problems. Loss of so much, but mostly loss of control. If you know anyone with anxiety, you know that control is a big thing for us. Change is not welcome. It’s all about consistency and security. So, on my “day one” I reminded myself that it’s not what happens to us, but what we do with it that matters and started my new life…and I got on a plane….
Thank you for continuing to follow my story.
